I explores the transition from painting to textile with a combination of exposed and overlapping mixed medium. The fiber art combines oil paint on canvas with raw edge appliqué and free motion quilting through the three layers. I then hand embellishes with different weights of threads. The movement between the stitched thread and oil paints creates a balance between paint and threads. 
I am inspired by nature where the sense of peace and mystery in the sublime complexity of the places I visit. The painting in essence become meditation on the natural world, I hope to convey my deep awe and respect for.
