Suzanne explores the transition from painting to textile with a combination of exposed and overlapping mixed medium. Her fiber art combines oil paint on canvas with raw edge appliqué and free motion quilting through the three layers. She hand embellishes with different weights of threads. The movement between the stitched thread and oil paints creates a balance between paint and threads.
